Can anyone tell me if they're still enforcing red light camera tickets?

Upon taking Valorie to drop off her cats in Century City tonight at midnight, I saw the flash go off in Beverly Hills after I entered an intersection on the tail end of a yellow light.

The article I read states to ignore the tickets and it won’t affect your record or credit… however, the article is dated March 2012.

Help… I don’t have $490 to spare and/or hire me to help me pay this ticket
