Yousuf Karsh: Regarding Heroes

Karsh is pretty much the greatest portrait photographer in history and a master of studio lighting. He’s photographed everyone from Martin Luther King Jr, Einstein, Hemmingway, & Vonnegut. If they’re a historical figure in the past century, he’s probably covered them.

That being said, I consider myself fortunate to have stumbled upon this exhibit yesterday… a collection of some of Karsh’s most amazing work, including the above photo.
