The medic at the theatre used to work as his stunt double on his show. When Drew would do shows in Vegas or a celebrity race, he’d take him along, give him money to gamble, as well as full authority to sign autographs and take pictures in his stead, if stopped.Two things I didn’t know about Drew Carey:
• he was a marine for 6 years
• he’s a press photographer for professional soccer and goes under the pseudonym “Brooks Parkenridge” for wire services
