Life Guard: “sir, did you not hear me calling you out specifically as the guy in the purple shirt to stay away from the seal? A seal only surfaces when its malnourished and injured. You could have killed him.”
Michael: “oh I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you…”
Random Tourist: “I HEARD HIM. EVERYONE DID. HE’S JUST BEING A JERK.”

I was midconversation when I noticed there was a baby seal on the beach… in which I excitedly took off running to see it. It kept swimming out then beaching itself… at one point my friend decided to reach down and pet it, but despite adorable appearances, the seal turned out to be angry and only barked and hissed.

The only reasoning I could think of is that the seal is a sexist asshole who hates dudes.
