I got my Portroid taken at The State reunion show in 2008 when I had bought an extra 15 tickets to give to people who had missed the window to buy them, with first priority to people coming in from out of state.
Rick and his wife were one of those people. At the time, I wasn’t sure what Portroids exactly were, but when his photo of me became the first hit on google search, I decided I couldn’t really hide behind the comfortable anonymity of my color bar avatar anymore.
