Phish | Hollywood Bowl | 08.05.13
Since Jay found cheap tickets on Stubhub and he’s been following along with the Analyze Phish podcast, I went along with the joke and accompanied him to Phish last night.
I then realized I had just about zero exposure to this type of music since I grew up listening to mostly 80s and 90s Rap and R&B.
observations:
- The least uh… diverse crowd I’ve ever been to.
- There was a sign language interpreter spotlighted at the front of the stage. This was probably the least amount of work she’s ever done at a concert.
- Lots of super enthusiastic people (mostly dudes) dancing and spinning around in a circle in the crowd.
In the end, I didn’t think the music was bad. Some reminded me of The People’s Court theme… it was just long… so, so long.
