… that I am always very courteous in releasing photos for personal use. They entertain me or give me comps to their shows, so I can give them a little promotion or a facebook photo in return. There’s some give and take.

Now when a very popular local magazine can’t spare the fair editorial rate (for the sake of argument is $175 for a magazine circulation of 10,000) or even a percentage of that rate, my first reaction is to kindly tell them to fuck off.

I’m really tired of publications, that are heavily supported by copious amounts of advertising, panhandling for handouts from the poor.

A line credit isn’t going to help me pay for my time nor equipment.
