Went to Joshua Tree last night. Night weather was perfect… around 75 degrees at midnight. Half of our group slept in cots outside.
However this morning everyone slowly woke up around 630a as the sun rose above the rocks. It felt like a giant was outside with a magnifying glass burning us like ants in our tents.
