Because we both have problems plunking down a lot of cash without knowing what we’re getting into, theshalom and I decided to sign up for a free improv workshop today at io west to get a taste of inner workings of the improv world.

While a lot of fun, it wasn’t the game changer we hoped it would be. Personally, I now know I’ll eventually take a 101 class, and you’d think I’d go to UCB by default, but if anything, this made me more interested in how different schools (second city, ucb, groundlings, io) might differ in terms of teaching… if I had the disposable cash, I’d find that out. Until then the research continues.
