Holy fuck… CNN is showing live footage of the countryside being wiped out by floods of water while people run around in the street in panic. People who don’t know what’s about to hit them. This is insane.
I also found out my friend’s little brother flew there 2 days ago to visit Tokyo Disney. We’re still waiting to hear from him…
You’re probably all aware by now that a rather large earthquake hit Japan a few moments ago. Just wanted to say that I’m fine. I live on the opposite coast (facing Korea/Russia), so we only felt a fairly minor tremor and we’re not at risk for tsunami. I’m watching the news like a hawk, though, and it’s crazy.
