Fuji x100 Test Shots

I bought this from a seller on Facebook for my dad as lighter camera he can take on vacation, thinking it might be a good throwback to his Canon AE-1. But I decided to learn how to use it before handing it over, as with every piece of technology I give him, he will probably get frustrated, and it will end up mine.

Figuring out the idiosyncrasies of this camera has been a little frustrating. Everything has its own button or knob, which has taken some getting used to.

However, the picture quality when you get it figured out is pretty great for a fancy point and shoot. The aperture on this thing goes down to f2 so you get a nice depth in your photos… but this thing doesn’t handle grain well. Probably explains why many convert their photos to black and white.
