Linda Vista Hospital, Los Angeles, California

Linda Vista Hospital, originally known as Santa Fe Coast Lines Hospital, is a former hospital in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. The hospital was constructed for railroad employees in 1904 and reconstructed in 1924. It was occupied by aviator and director Howard Hughes on occasion. The hospital ceased operations and closed downs in 1991.

Since the closing the hospital has been used as set for many film and tv productions including Pearl Harbor, E.R. and Dexter. Music videos from Garbage and Duran Duran were also shot there. The hospital was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in January 2006.
